Susan Detrich commented on Madison Square post office : QUESTION, NOT COMMENT: I've tried every website for hours and get nowhere. I need to know what the BUSINESS hours are at Madison Square P.O. [ not Lobby hours, not Retail hours ( clerks at the counters ) -- BUSINESS hours ]
We need to get a new second key for our P.O. Box, and the past president of our organization is still on record as the "owner" of the box. So we need to take him off, fill out forms, pay fee, etc. So to set a time to meet there, we need to know WHEN to do it.
Also need to know if a person's name is required or can the box just have the organization name [ Dickens Fellowship of New York -- non- profit book club ]. Since volunteer officers' change, it would be much better w/ no person's name.
I have tried the USPS numbers many times and I'm just dropped or wait times are over an hour. Susan Detrich, Treasurer of above.
